Our clients love us because we are different, in nearly every way. Initially, they are fond of us because we are particularly concerned with their ROI. But they truly grow to love us as they see our commitment to their unique enterprise; and as we work together to produce a product that is truly beneficial. Over time, we all become family as our long-term work relationship matures. If you have not read about our philosophy in the Mojo Rockin Web Designs page, I recommend you do so before reading about our Method. We are not your typical web studio and we wish for everyone to know that upfront.
All businesses are concerned about expenditures. No one wants to pay for a website that will do little to add to their bottom line. Your money is wasted if your website does not provide a respectable return on investment. On the one hand, the goal ought to be one of crafting a site which draws in visitors, and successfully converts them to customers. On the other, it should be developed as cost-effectively as possible. Mojo Foxx brings these often-dissonant ingredients together.
Knowing that small businesses usually have tight budgets, we strive to keep our prices as rock-bottom as possible, while yet producing websites that do the job! We keep our prices low by keeping our overhead low, producing our websites quickly and maintaining a simple accounting system...never by cutting corners in quality. Efficiency and proficiency, combined, is our "Method." We have 17 years experience to give us our proficiency, but efficiency requires dedication. Keeping our prices low requires that we enter into a working partnership with our clients.
Mojo Foxx is structured to move quickly through the development process. What takes other studios weeks, we accomplish in days. We do not maintain an accounting department because our accounting philosophy is simple: 50% down-payment, no interim payment...and final 50% payment within three days of job completion. It's simple and it helps keep our prices low for you. Why 50% down when some studios require as little as a third, or a fourth? As mentioned, we move websites through the development process in days, rather than weeks (or months). We have found that our clients are more motivated to get their work completed when they have a hefty investment on the line. In the end, this works to keep our prices low for you!
We only work on two website projects at one time. Efficiency in web design is drastically reduced when we have to bounce back and forth between jobs. If you are truly ready to move forth with your web development, we are truly ready to quickly build it for you. We will turn down work if we think the job will drag on and affect our Method. This is why it is important to build a partnership.
Mojo Foxx has three types of Projects:
Type I Basic Projects: These are projects that are quoted based upon our Basic CMS website, Basic Online Store or small static website. These projects run $950-$1500 and are based upon a firm quote from us. You will not pay more than what is quoted to you and the work is clearly delineated...you know what you pay for.
Type II Advanced Lump Sum Projects: These may be "Basic" projects with expanded, or special features. They may be medium to large static, or hybrid (co-mixture of static and dynamic content) websites. The one thing in common is they are all based on a firm quote from us. As with the Basic Projects, the goals and responsibilities are clearly laid out and you know what you pay for. These jobs can range from $1500-$3500.
Type III Advanced Budgeted Projects: Occasionally, we will have clients with special needs. We may have to meet with them several times, either in person or via online conferencing. We may have to work with outside software companies. You would not believe some of the projects we've been involved in. If it is difficult to determine a lump sum price, we will work together with you to develop a set of goals within an established budget, and our work will be based on our current hourly rate. We will not invoice you above your budget, no matter how many hours we run over. However, we must both realize this is a partnership based on honesty, trust and equity. We have our responsibility to develop the site, and you have the responsibility to provide us with the information we need to complete the work. If your game plan changes within the course of development, and it appears we will go over the budget...we may have to re-negotiate.

The Mojo Foxx Method is effected with three goals in mind:
1. Pre-Production Goals: Unless yours is a Type III Project, Mojo Foxx will meet one time to discuss your web development. We will come prepared with a head full of experience and ideas for your business. We will expect some preparation from you as well. Give some thought to your business and how you want to present yourself on the web. Have an out-of-body experience and put yourself in your customer's shoes. One of the biggest mistakes that companies make is looking at their company from their own perspective. Be prepared to tell us how unique and special you are...but be honest. If you can't convince us, we can't convince your viewers. In advance of our meeting, please read this page. It will give you a basic idea of what information we will need from you, along with some ideas.
We ask that you have rough drafts ready of the following: a general synopsis of your business, an "about us" document, a quality logo file, and your contact information. Unless you already know what kind of site you want, we ask that you review the website alternatives found in the "websites" section of this site. We will determine in the meeting which type of web site we will build, and it will benefit you greatly to have some knowledge beforehand of your options. You may desire to browse our portfolio to see some live examples. You can even choose your site colors from this color chart, if you wish.
After determining the type of site, the layout, the number of pages and any special add-ons, you will receive a firm quote. We will tell you exactly what we need from you and what you can expect from us. We don't want any confusion, on either side. If you agree to hire us, we will shake hands and set a target date to get your information and begin work.
2. Site Development Goals: When we receive your information, we immediately schedule your work and the one week clock begins. The Mojo Foxx Method does not allow us to piecemeal projects and bounce from one to the other, so we will not begin until we have your information. Once we begin, we will move quickly to get the site framework in place, including logo, graphics, and other layout items. Depending on the job, we may ask for your layout approval before we begin "fleshing" the site out. Static sites are built offline, while dynamic sites are built live. You will be able to easily view the progress of dynamic sites real-time, but the static sites are typically uploaded in "sections." If additional information is required, we ask that you respond quickly...particularly if it is holding up site development. If you change things along the way, you may incur additional charges and delays. The Mojo Foxx Method works best by getting things straight from the get-go. However, we know from experience, some times our clients change their mind during site development.
3. Post-Production Goals: When your site is completed, we will submit it for your acceptance. Once accepted, we will begin whatever search engine submission or marketing activity that we agreed on for your project. When that function is complete, we shout "woohoo" rather loudly, then calm down and send you an invoice.
The Mojo Foxx Method may seem a bit rigid but this is our method of delivering you a professional quality website at a 30-50% cheaper price than the big-city boys.
